Home Care Services
We have also established a “Special Discounted Professional Home Care Service” which offers the same service items as the “Professional Home Care Service”. We have specifically set up affordable professional care service fees for elderly individuals from low-income families. The purpose is to enable the elderly from low-income families can also access the “Professional Home Care Service” ensuring that the elderly from low-income families can likewise receive quality in-home elderly care
Elderly individuals from low-income families who are eligible to participate in the Special Discounted Professional Home Care Services must meet the following criteria:
- Reside in Hong Kong and
- Be aged 60 or above and
- Have limited financial means, such as recipients of Comprehensive Social Security Assistance Scheme(CSSA) or Old Age Living Allowance.
- Have been assessed by a social worker as lacking financial support and care from family or friends.
- Reside in public housing estates.
